Use sodium percarbonate

Ammonia powder

After removing the remains of dust and dirt from the sofa with a vacuum cleaner, pour a large amount of warm water into a container.

Add a dash of ammonia to the water.

Use a sponge or a brush with soft bristles (threads) to apply the water mixed with the ammonia on the furniture.

Clean the sofa in areas to make sure you leave it completely clean.

Moisten a cloth in warm water and, after wringing it out, remove any dirt left on the upholstery.

Ventilate the sofa’s room so it dries out, and the ammonia smell can disappear.
